CHORAL - Ms. Caroline Haar

Ms. Haar came to the NEHS Music team in the Summer of 2017. She is a graduate of the West Chester University School of Music (B.S. Music Education, '17). Ms. Haar was active in the WCU Music Community, performing in multiple ensembles, including (but not limited to): Mastersingers, WCU Opera Theatre, and The Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band. She served both as an initiated member of Sigma Alpha Iota International and as President of the Swope Ensemble Association.

North east high school


Ms. Owens (NEHS '13) returned home to NEHS Music as a graduate of Lebanon Valley College (B.S. Music Education & B.A. Music, '17). In addition to performing with many LVC ensembles - including the Pride of the Valley Marching Band as a Drum Major - she served the greater cause of music as an initiated member of Sigma Alpha Iota International. She took the reins of the NEHS Instrumental program in the Summer of 2017, including theBlue Crew Marching Band for which she, herself, was Drum Major. 

Orchestral - Ms. Kirsten Fitzsimmons

Ms. Fitzsimmons joined NEHS Music in the Summer of 2017 as a graduate of Towson University (B.S. Music Education, '17). Her days at TU included performances with the Towson University Symphony Orchestra and service as Vice President of the TU chapter of the American String Teachers Association. Having previously served in music ministry near TU, she has served as Organist/Music Director at Bethel Presbyterian Church in White Hall, MD since 2016.
